THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE....

Colchester Dog Agility club is the largest club of its type in the borough of Colchester and North East Essex. At present we have 100 members, and we are now a "Kennel Club" registered club.

The club was founded by Chris Lay who started agility training in his back garden many years ago. He is now President of the Club and part of the management committee. We run 9 classes a week for all levels and have 3 enclosed rings which are flood lit when dark.

We have a team of trained instructors, several of whom are Agility Club Approved Instructors (ACAI), giving training at all levels from absolute beginners right up to advanced level 7. We also have a hard working management committee who look after all aspects of running this large and busy club.

Approximately half our members compete with their dogs. We have members competing in all levels from 1 to 7. We do however strive to keep the FUN element in the club.

Chris Lay founded the original “Crilaymar” club in 1999. It became CDAC in an inauguration meeting on 5th January 2004. He is now part of the hard working management committee who look after all aspects of running this large and busy club.
